"Make Some Noise" is a pop song by American singer–songwriter and actress Miley Cyrus, performing as Hannah Montana – the alter ego of Miley Stewart – a character she plays on the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana. It was released to Radio Disney in April 2007 as promotion for Hannah Montana 2. A karaoke version is available in Disney's Karaoke Series: Hannah Montana 2.[1] The song is musically pop and country based. Lyrically, the track speaks about standing up for what you believe in.

Written and produced by Andy Dodd and Adam Watts, "Make Some Noise" was released as the second Radio Disney single from the album. It can still be requested for airplay on the station today.[2] Lyrically, the song urges teens to stand up and "make some noise" for what they believe in.
Heather Phares described the song as a "less-inspired [version] of the shiny, synth-driven pop and strummy acoustic ballads that made the first Hannah Montana soundtrack a hit."[3]
The song received mediocre airplay due to it not being released for mainstream radio and only Radio Disney. The song debuted at number seventy-three on Hot Digital Songs which led to it making into the Billboard Hot 100, for the week ending July 14, 2007.[4] The song debuted and peaked at number ninety-two in the Hot 100.[5] On the same week, the song debuted and peaked at number seventy-eight on the now defunct Pop 100.[6]
Cyrus, dressed as Montana, premiered "Make Some Noise", along with eight other songs, at the concert taping for the second season of Hannah Montana.[7] The live video has been used as a music video on the Disney Channel and was released onto iTunes in 2007.[8][9]
